Who We Are
Late Smt. Janakibai (Akka) Tendulkar Mahilashram is a charitable organization based in Lanja, Ratnagiri district. It was founded in 1957 by freedom fighters Smt. Janakibai Tendulkar and Smt. Kumudtai Rege, under the guidance of Shri Appasaheb Patwardhan. For over six decades, we have served as a refuge and nurturing space for destitute women and children in need.
